Day 1: HO CHI MINH CITY ARRIVAL.

Arrive at Ho Chi Minh City airport by your own flight (please advise flight details); you will be welcomed and transferred to hotel. Hotel check-in time is 14:00 hrs and early check-in is at surcharge. Free at leisure. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 2: HO CHI MINH CITY – CU CHI TUNNELS – CITY TOUR (B/L)

In the morning, drive to visit Cu Chi Tunnels (70 km northwest of Ho Chi Minh City), an amazing complex of underground tunnels used during the Vietnam War. There are more than 200 km of tunnels, comprising a main axis system with many branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters and other tunnels. You have the chance to crawl through this amazing system of tunnels. Drive back to Saigon for lunch.
In the afternoon, start the city tour with the visit to the former Presidential Palace. Continue to visit Notre Dame Cathedral and the old Post Office, both magnificent sights from the French colonial period.
Then we visit the War Remnant Museum, the Jade Emperor pagoda before stopping at Ben Thanh market for shopping and buying.

Day 3: HO CHI MINH CITY – CAI BE – VINH LONG – CAN THO (B/L/D)

Pick up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and transfer to Cai Be.
On arriving in Cai Be, start the motorized boat to visit the Cai Be floating market, experience how people exchanging goods, fruit and many other commodities on their vessels. Visitors then roam into the small villages to visit the orchard, fruit plantation. Keep cruising to Vinh Long through small canals to enjoy the charm of the Upper Mekong Delta, Vietnam.
Visit some hand – made family business products such as the coconut candy mill, the crispy rice popcorn. Arrive in Binh Hoa Phuoc village the green pearl of Vinh Long town where you can indulge yourself into the nature.
Have lunch with fresh river food served in the heart of the garden. Enjoy the southern Vietnamese traditional folk music. Take a nice walk through the bonsai garden. Meet up our vehicle for a short drive to Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho

Day 4: CAN THO – CHAU DOC (B/L/D)

Today we continue venturing into the Mekong Delta, passing through the many rice fields fringed with palm trees, fruit orchards and canals crammed with boats and rice barges to Chau Doc. This border town is less affected by the flash and glitz of Ho Chi Minh City’s fashionable young people although it is a major hub of trade along the Mekong. A highlight of our visit to this region is an interesting boat trip on the Hau River to a fishing breeding farm and a small Muslin community at Cham village.
Upon disembarking we drive to explore the sacred Ba Chua Temple and the nearby sanctuary of Tay An. We complete our day with a walk to the Sam Mountain for a beautiful view of the sunset over the mighty Mekong River. Overnight in Chau Doc

Day 5: CHAU DOC – XEO QUYT – HO CHI MINH CITY (B/L)

The return trip begins as we depart this border town. A part of the pleasure of travelling in this region is the simple joy of seeing the rice fields and the smiling faces of the people. On arrival we board a boat for an exploration of the Xeo Quit Forest which was once a stronghold of the communist troop during the American wartime. These boundless forests are dissevered by numerous narrow canals surrounded by aquatic grass and plants, tall trees and vines. The cool and humid air mixing with the fragrance of flowers as well as the beautiful song of bird in the quiet environment makes for an unforgettable excursion. After the boat trip we drive back to Ho Chi Minh City, passing through the charming countryside. Overnight in Saigon

Day 6: HO CHI MINH CITY – DEPARTURE (B)

Have break at hotel.
Free time to relax or explore the city until you are transferred to the airport for your departure flight. Please note hotel check-out time is 12:00 hrs and late check-out is at surcharge.
